Reef Week
Reef Week in Belize is a national, week long celebration of Belize’s Barrier Reef that brings together communities, NGOs, schools, and partners to highlight conservation, education, and pride in the reef.
Through school visits, community activities, and public events, the week brings people together to learn, connect, and take action. It is a reminder that the health of the reef is directly linked to our everyday choices on land and at sea.
Reef Run 2026
The Reef Run brings people together in support of Belize’s reefs while creating space for community, movement, and shared purpose. As part of Reef Week 2026, it connects awareness with action and reminds us that everyone has a role to play.
This is not just a run. It is a reflection of what it looks like when people show up for something bigger than themselves. Each step speaks to the importance of protecting our reefs and building a culture of stewardship that continues beyond the day.
